Here is a Google Search Console life hack that will let you see more of your own data in < 5 min In the GSC performance report, you’ll only get to view the first 1,000 rows of any report. In this short thread, I’ll show you how to see all the rows.
Before
After
Step 1
Go to Google Data Studio and log in with the same email you use for Search Console. The dashboard looks like this.
Step 2
Click “Create” and select “Data source“.
We’re going to link our Google Search Console data so it can be put into a report.
Step 3
From the list of available domains in your search console, select the domain you want to see keyword performance reports for.
At the top right corner, click the blue “connect” button.
Step 4
Go back to the dashboard and click “Create” and select “Report“.
Click “My data sources” and select the search console data you just connected.
Step 5
A chart will load into the page. Click on the chart and you’ll see this sidebar on the right side of the page. For “Dimension“, click “Add dimension” and add these dimensions. Under “Metrics“, select “Add metric” and add these, too.
Step 6
And just like that, you have a FULL report of all your keywords and URLs in one chart with all the data you’d get in the search console.
What’s even better is that you can save this report and bookmark the URL for it, accessing it like you would any Google doc. You can report other metrics and even view stats for MULTIPLE SITES AT ONCE (just import their data sources).
